Prepared Binder started in the spring of 2007, after watching the destruction of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Thousands of people fled their homes with little or no time to gather important papers. We realized there needed to be a way to organize all the information that documents our lives into one easy to use format. |
The original product was generated for a presentation given to a local women’s group. The demand was overwhelming. After doubling the amount of binders we anticipated needing, there was still a shortage. Numerous requests led to the eventual start of Prepared Binder as a company.
The recent wildfires in Southern California and the flooding in the mid west have once again highlighted the need for organized documents. Over and over, news coverage related that people only had minutes to evacuate their homes. They were worried about their families and their homes, but also the documents they had left behind.
Designed with contributions from a lawyer, banker, insurance agent, funeral coordinator, medical professionals, small business owners and countless families, this product is a well organized, thoughtfully laid out resource ready to help you organize your information.
